A blog from this life...
Hi Haneen,Sorry, I don't have a clue as to what is wrong with your side bar. I don't have a blog set up. I don't have time to maintain one. I just signed up with blogger to be able to post comments on the blogs that don't allow anonymous comments."To Kill a Mockingbird" is my all time favorate book. Not only is it a good story, but it has meaning as well. "Lonesome Dove" is one of those rare books you wish wouldn't end. But, like you, there are too many books I would like to read and too little time.Did they send you Mitch Albom's "The Five People you Meet in Heaven"? It's definately worth reading.Take care.
Hey Hannen. From over here your sidebar looks just fine. It is to the right of the posts. But this depends on the browser you are using. What browser are you using?? Internet Explorer, Opera, or Mozilla Fire Fox. Anyway, your sidebar looks fine from over here.
Your sidebar showed up. Then it vanished!
Haneen,Such problems usually occur when the width of certain segments of the page are not enough to house the content and this usually happens after adding ill-fitted images onto the blog. You can probably correct this by increasing the width of the (menu=sidebar) and/or that of the (main=content) when you access the template.
Omar,I don't know! This problem started to show up before adding any ill-fitted images onto the sidebar! The sidebar appears in it's normal place when the page loads first, but then it jumps down!! Hassan, I'm useing Internet Explorer of Window XP Pack2. Maybe the problem is with the PC, or the sidebar itself! Thank you guys.Hey Lynnette, it's nice to see you here once again. Well, I have so many books that I don't know where to start reading! No, I don't have "The Five People You Meet in heaven" Sounds interesting! Now I know that there are so many books that I have to buy once I get to the U.S.A.
Hey Heeho: Dont worry, I use IE6 on WinXP SP2, and I have such problems all the time, now, u can increase your screen resolution (someone told me this but i dont think its a solution) or u can start remembering WHEN exactly did it start to jump down, my money is on something you added to the SIDEBAR itself, which is wider than the allotted space (250 pixel?) which forces it to go down instead of resize.. check your links, and I am sure it has to do with your "baghdad.com" and "worldweather" links, they are simply TOO WIDE.remove those (from your template, in the settings), publish and it will be normal again, or, you can add tags for height and width to fit it as you want.. if its too complex, send me the link text from the template.. i'll do something about it.. salam, and happy eid.
tell me what u did as soon as possible and if i'll need to fix it ASAP as well.. salam to everyone!
